Bits and Pieces

'The worst things in life come free to us'
Standing here as a million rain drops fall upon me. Maybe it'll all just fall away with the rain. Maybe all the mistakes, troubles, lies, doubts and insecurities will wash away.
Why do I feel such bliss amongst all the misery?

The smallest things have always made me happy...
                                                     ~~~
As the tears tumble down my face, I wonder. Think, think, think.  I stand here for hours upon hours listening to music to distract myself; putting my life on hold. Before I know it, the music stops and I don't even notice, lost in my train of thought that never seems to end. No pit stops, no rest, no time to refuel; doesn't stop for anyone.
People call me dumb, they say I never think about anything. If only they knew. The problem is that I think too much. And at the end of everything, I think some more. I make rash decisions, say terrible things, hurt myself, hurt others. Why?
I'm momentarily brought back as I hear 'It's too cold outside for angels fly' whispered into my ears. It truly is too cold. Even for the wicked.
I put on a smile. I hide behind incessant babbling and a series of giggles that don't seem to stop; like an awful case of hiccups.
Maybe if I act like everything's ok, it will be. Just maybe...
It has stopped raining now. Time to put my mask back on. All smiles. :)
                                              FIN.
If you're wondering what all that was about:
I go up onto my terrace everyday and just walk around for hours, listening to music. I think about my life and about all the people around me, everything that affects me; my social environment (thank you Phys. Ed, I'm actually using you in real life). Anyway, on this particular day, it was raining and I was listening to Ed Sheeran's 'The A Team', I started tapping away on my Itouch. Before I knew it, I ended up with these bits and pieces from my 'train of thought'.
I'm really not such a depressing person but I freak from time to time. Okay, enough bullshit now! >_< BYE :)
An Apple a Day Keeps The Doctor Away
Hey there.
Do you know what it feels like to be in love? I don't. I'm literally like 'yuck' when I hear the  word love. I don't believe in it. I believe in love when it deals with family. I love my parents, my sister and my relatives; some of them. But when it comes to the gushy, gooey love that girls my age yearn for, I have complete and total disinterest. I think that most people my age confuse infatuation with love.
When I tell my friends I love them, it's completely platonic. But some of the girls I see are 'head-over-heels in love' with their guy, this really doesn't make sense to me because, I think we're all too young to be in love. They go so far to keep someone in their lives but is it all really that essential.
We teenagers are way to greedy and impatient to be 'in love' with someone.
But what do I know, like I know anything about love.
I typed all of this syncing with the
rhythm of Pitch Perfect's "When I'm Gone, Cups version" and this is pretty fun. hehe.
In other news, I visited the doctor yesterday regarding my shoulder injury.
The conversation that took place.
Doc: So where does it hurt?
Me: My shoulder, neck, arm and wrist are hurting.
Doc: Okay, *pokes my hand* Does it hurt?
Me: No.
BLAH BLAH BLAH
Doc: It seems like there's nothing seriously wrong with it. Just ignore it.
Me: Uh. Okay.
Doc: So what subjects did you take?
Me: MPC
Doc: Chi. Should have taken BiPC
Me: So I could become a lameass doctor who makes their patients sit 4 hours in the waiting room?! Douchebag.
Oh ya. Haha.
Enlightenment & Flying
Recently, I've taken up reading some holy books as per the suggestion of my Aunt and my Mother. I finished reading one of the books and I learned so much about my religion, culture and customs.
See, the meaning of enlightenment is
awakening to the ultimate truth by which man is freed from the endless cycle of personal reincarnations to which all men are otherwise subject. Woah, so deep. But how exactly do we reach such a state? Well, it isn't easy. I mean, every single thing you do, think and say can affect whether or not you will be able to reach enlightenment. You must leave all worldly desires and have complete and utter faith in God and must never sway from your goal. Being human, this seems very difficult; and it is. But what's the point if we don't try? Nobody's perfect but we do aspire to be so.
Also, I got hit by a car last month. It's been exactly one month since it happened to the date. My two wheeler got hit by a car and I flew (literally) off of the scooter; I fell about 5 meters away and my scooter went and hit a wall.
As soon as I fell, I thought I died. I've never been so scared before. The first thing I said was "God, I'm dead". After I assured myself that I hadn't died, I realized that I couldn't feel my legs, at all. (I thought I'd broke both my legs. But I hadn't.) Four men came running and picked me up and sat me in front of a dairy parlor. They gave me water to drink and to wash my face. By this time around 20-30 people had huddled around me; they thought I died or something. I went into a complete state of shock  which I didn't recover from until a couple of hours later. The car's owner checked to make sure if I'd broken anything and then asked me where I was going. I started crying when he asked me this because I was going to buy a pen refill to study for my mathematics exam that I had a couple of days later; my finals.
I got X-rays done for my shoulder, spine and arm. I have a soft-tissue injury in my wrist and my neck curvature has become completely straight. I have to go to physiotherapy soon. MEH.
I'm sorry this post is so dry. BLEH. I'll post more interesting stuff soon! :D
Jibber-Jabber
Hello my non-existent readers!
(:
I'm ecstatic at the moment and I have absolutely no idea why! haha. I'm supposed to be studying for my B.Architecture exam that's on Sunday. (Don't ask me what the 'B' stands for, I'm not sure) YAY! I haven't even started!
 Life seems so beautiful right now, that's weird because I spend approximately 9 hours of my day at a Coaching center for my examinations. So fun! NOT. Lately, I've a sudden interest in photography and I want to fool around with whatever camera I can find. But I have a ton on my plate with all my competitive exams and college entrance exams coming up. Yikes!
To Do List:
  • Photography
  • Art
  • Blog more often
  • Video Blog!
  • BUY A TON OF BOOKS TO READ :)
  •  Gym *sigh*
  • Start playing Lacrosse/Volleyball again.
  • Improve vocal chords
  • Get rid of my two left feet
  • Sewing?! O_O
  • Scrap booking!!
  • Shopping! :D
  • Become ambidextrous
  • Turn into a walking dictionary
Wow. I was just looking at that list and I think I missed out buying yarn and a bunch of cats. Geez, I sound like an old woman. Hm, how about:
  • Travel
  • Party hard
  • Pranks! :D
  • Watch a scary movie at the cinemas :O
  • Not get a heart attack after ^
Right now, I feel like that girl from the show 'Awkward', blogging to herself. Well she shares all her deepest, darkest secrets thinking nobody will read about her but I'm not really in the mood to share all that! :D If anyone is actually out there, don't be afraid to leave a comment! :) I won't bite.
P.S.- Recently, I dared myself to give a high-five to a random stranger. My friends totally discouraged it saying, we live in a country where that is not socially accepted. Well after I heard that, I definitely had to do it! Only if to prove them wrong :)
I walked up to some 13-15 year olds and asked if I could get a high-five. I got two and walked away 'Like a Bosss' I will never forget those  kids faces!
Live crazy!
High School
School is hell on earth. Isn't it? At least mine is.
 High school. Where do I even begin? Four years that seem like an eternity, that is until its over.
 9th grade: 'Oh my goodness a new school in a new continent!!!' 'Uniforms?!' *ugh* 'Fine, nothing I can do about it now.' I joined the-hmm, maybe I shouldn't disclose the name so let's just call it 'the academy'. 'When I joined the academy in July of 2009 I was scared out of my wits. My fate of which section of the ninth grade to be put in was decided by my present mathematics teacher. And there my 'fabulous' time at the academy began. I was taken down a long hallway to a room at the corner. The plaque outside said '9D' My thoughts around this time ' What the hell is a section?! and Where the hell are these people taking me?!' I was to go into a classroom where  someone was teaching. I walked into the class and I could feel everyone's eyes on me. I didn't dare to look up because I way too shy. The teacher sized me up and she expressed complete disinterest. Her face said 'Oh great, another one.Ugh' She told me to sit down next to the girl in third bench. I slowly went and sat next to her. The teacher went on teaching her subject, (god knows what it even was). The girl that I sat next to told me her name. I told her mine, and that was that. Everyone was trying to act like they were listening to the teacher but it was quite clear that they just wanted to know about the 'new girl'. The teacher then finally made me go up to the front of the room and asked me to introduce myself. I told them my name and where I came from and the teacher made each student tell their names. I could barely     understand what the names were let alone how to pronounce them. I sat down and the girl next to me tries to make small talk. My thoughts around this time 'Oh god. I better speak slowly or they might not understand me, oh this is hell'. She started asking me questions about myself and she asks which languages I speak. I tell her telugu and english but not hindi. She gives me a complete look of disappointment and sighs. Meanwhile the guy in front of me starts passing chits to the girl and they keep this going for a while. *how rude*
The girl behind me calls me. I turn. Before even introducing herself she says, 'Hi. Don't talk to the four guys sitting in the last two benches. They're really bad.' I turn back to look at who these mysterious bad boys are but I couldn't get a look. I say 'Oh. Ok, thanks for telling me.'
The boring biology class ends and next is geography or something. The teacher comes in, yada yada. She asks me my name and where I come from. See around this time, I was still very scared about this new school (obviously) so when I say U.S. I accidentally stress on the 's' a little too much so it sounded like I said "you ass". Great, first day and I called the teacher an ass. The class just looks at me in awe and I have no idea what's going on. The girl sitting next to me tells me what happened. I thought people don't curse in private school. :P So naturally, I freaked. Afterwards however, nearly every guy in the class gets up, points at some other dude and says "You asss!" Thank god. The day went by pretty normally.. Except for the part where I'm told that the girl that usually sits in my place is actually a very egocentric bully who would probably kill me if she finds me sitting there the next day and that I look like olive (like olive and popeye) Wait what. Hold up. She's going to kill me because I'm sitting in her place? Yay. I didn't show up the next day so I couldn't really meet the psycho girl. I went back on the third day. *sigh* This was the day my teacher made my cry and almost made me absolutely hate the academy also the day I met the supposed psycho girl; who wasn't even a bully. So I obviously went home crying and begged to be taken back to the states. But that obviously wasn't happening.
Anywho. That was the beginning of my time at the The Academy. I made a really good friend who I stuck with for the rest of the year and we had an amazing time. The four 'bad boys' ended up being pretty good friends. Possibly one of the first few times I actually started socializing with guys and made nice friends.
10th grade: My best friend is gone! How am I going to bear with this stupid school. Well this was the year that my best friend had moved to a different state leaving me to rot. What fun. *sigh* I don't really remember much about this year but I do remember it being filled with drama, fun, crazy, lots of memories (good and bad).
The summer before 10th I went on an educational school tour with my school. The tour was really fun and brought me and some of my other friends close together!
I had a lot of crazy stuff going on that year. My brain kind of blocked most of the intense complicated memories so all I remember is: One day, 'psycho girl' moved to my locality. We became really good friends and I completely confided in her for everything. Boards happened and school ended.  Decision time! Continue in school or go to an Intermediate college. Agh!
11th grade:
Well, I continued in the academy.  Oh god, in 11th we had one section, so that's about 40 crazy teenagers in one room. We got tons of new students. This year is also a blur to me. *curse my memory power capabilities*  This year psycho girl and I had our differences so I became close to my now bestest friend- Back story: Also the first person I ever met in The Academy (didn't mention that before). This was the year I got to understanding that high school seriously does have drama in all areas. The year flew by pretty quickly and it came to an end.
12th grade: Ooh. 12th. Same best friend :P Lots of new friends. This year pretty much sums of up what all high schools are like. Ah, the drama! Ah, the fights! Ah, the misunderstandings! It goes on and on. I never thought high school could be so messed up. So all we did was wish that it would just be over, nearly every day! Flooded with tuition and exams and studying, this year was insane. The disagreements and arguments lasted forever. But it all did simmer down sooner or later.
Farewell: Thank god! We're finally done! This is awesome, I'm so happy. After farewell: Oh my god. Is school really over. Is high school really over?! No. I don't want to go. Please. No!
And alas, it did come to an end. But I can't say that I'm all too happy about it now. Honestly, I will miss The Academy so much. It was a hell of a ride but the people I've met are unforgettable, the memories I've made are forever cherished, the lessons I've learned are a truck load and these four years are some that I could never forget.
Well, I'm done with that. Felt like I had to put it into words. Sorry if I bored you.
What I wanted to say was, high school are some of the best years of your life so stay cool, fool around, study hard, make plenty of friends and many more memories and above all, just have fun! You're not getting these years back.
Ah. That was so boring. Even I'm tired after that. Eughh.
Okay, I better go study for my finals. Bye!
Teenage Angst
Life. As we know it.
If you expected this to be some philosophical humbug or something along the lines of "The Guide to Enlightenment" you are terribly mistaken.
From the eyes of a hypocritical internet addicted teenager:
Nobody said life was going to be perfect. So stop complaining.We all have problems, the only difference is, some of us try to deal with them. It's not pleasing to see you rant about how much you're mad at your parents for getting you the last season Gucci handbag. It's seriously too bad that you 'failed' your examinations with a low score of 90 frickin' 5. (Excuse my language)
 I definitely don't care that your boyfriend forgot your week-a-versary. Is that even a thing now? Sheesh.
I'm sorry if you're heartbroken and teary-eyed to find out that people actually don't give a shit. But that's exactly what I'm here for. Breaking the news; good and bad. I don't care if you're upset, I don't care if you're displeased. I haven't said this in a while but, I don't live to please you.
 Do something useful for once. Anything. Log out of facebook, tune out of the social network for a few hours. I'm not asking you to study or anything. Now that would be totally hypocritical of me, given that I haven't studied in over a month. But if you find studying fun and/or amusing, knock yourself out!
 I'm asking for you to go out and play like a crazy, psychotic toddler. Do crazy, insane, bizzare things. Why? Because you can! Do any of you even have a bucket list? Like "50 things to do before I'm 20" or "Places to go before I die". I know I don't. That's because I'm one of the most laziest people you will never meet. But there's nothing stopping you. Is there?
Take your little sister out for the most funniest animated movie you can find. Go shopping with your mom. Talk to your weird neighbor that no one seems to like. Prank random people.
Drive the people around you insane!
Do whatever you want to. Just go out there and live your life. I'm right behind you.
